The AT&T Nation's Football Classic™ is a new age Black College Football Classic which will renew the college football rivalry between Howard University and Morehouse College after nearly 15 years. It will showcase the Tradition, Service, Unity and Heritage of these prominent Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and offer a cultural experience that can’t be matched. Students, alumni and supporters of HBCUs from around the country will come together in Washington, D.C. to celebrate the pride, pageantry and energy of Black College football. The history between these two teams dates back to 1923 when Howard defeated Morehouse 10-0.

Howard University
Founded in 1867 and located in Washington, D.C., Howard is an institution that is experienced, dynamic, and diverse. The tradition of quality education is provided by the constant engagement of its faculty toward the students and their needs, and by its rich campus social and cultural life.

Morehouse College
Founded in 1867 and located in Atlanta, Georgia, Morehouse is an academic community dedicated to teaching, scholarship, and service, and the continuing search for truth as a liberating force. The AT&T Nation's Football Classic ™ was created to celebrate the passion and tradition of the college football experience; recognize the history of service to others by the students, faculty and alumni of historically black colleges and universities; highlight the unity of African-American culture; and honor the heritage and excellence of these proud institutions.

Organized by Events DC, the inaugural AT&T Nation’s Football Classic was held on September 1, 2011 at RFK Stadium.

The AT&T Nation's Football Classic ™ is much more than a game - the Classic weekend includes an array of elements unique to the black college experience.
